THE CREATIVE SUMMER FILM TOUR
A full month of hands-on media arts training in the heart of Charlotte. Students choose their track, build real skills, and spend the month working toward something bigger than a grade.
Every student's final project debuts at the On The Rise Student Film Festival in September. This is where skill gets built, confidence gets found, and creative identity takes shape.

Our summer tour blends creativity with structure, mentorship, and real-world learning. Students gain hands-on experience in media arts while building confidence, discipline, and communication skills that go well beyond the classroom.
Ages 13–18

HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2025 SUMMER CAMP
Last summer, students arrived curious and left with finished work and a new sense of what they're capable of. From the camera to the editing suite to the stage, every student worked with real tools under the guidance of professionals who actually work in the industry.
This year the stakes are higher. Every student who completes the program will debut their final project at the On The Rise Student Film Festival on September 19, 2026 at Independent Picture House. A real screen. A real audience. Charlotte's first dedicated student film festival.
